I printed the design in b&w and re sized it to A3, made up the lantern then made a separate base to stand the lantern onto.

I also put some silver leaves and berries inside the lantern along with a flickering candle, this can be turned on/off from the underside through a small hole in the base. the top recess on the lantern was made by turning the lid upside down, forming a shelf for the other candle.
